The operator loads a preformed sheet-metal part. When the operator is clear of the machine the robot grabs the part and presents it to the ringlet riveter in 5 different locations on different planes. The robot also presents the part to a vision camera and if the part is good it is put in the good bin, if the part is bad it gets placed into the bad bin!
Using an R-2000ic Robot, the End of Arm Tooling Pics up and applies film to a fabric batting, thermally tacks it in place then finishes with rolling via a heated roller. The film is presented by a Turnkey film feeder and cutter.
Fanuc Robot verifies heights and Ultrasonically welds many points.
This machine shuttles the automotive trim part back, simultaneously applying an adhesion promoter and clips via the End of Arm Tooling. There is a secondary nozzle traversing the part as well with a servo actuator.
